  For the techophobes out there, the product can be used immediately after unpacking. I happened to have a memory stick with some pictures on it and I simply plugged it in to the USB port and off it went. The picture quality is very good as long as you do not sit too close. It's easy to forget that an LCD screen is being used for the display. Although the internal memory is small by modern standards, I was still able to copy from the stick just by following the on screen instructions and using the tiny remote control. Using the menu to adjust settings was very easy e.g. speed between picture changes, size to fit, etc. Not long after this purchase, I bought a digital camera with a 1GB SD card. Once again, it was very easy to slot it in and watch the photographs. As an experiment, I copied from the internal memory to the SD card with no problems. Useful if you haven't got a computer nearby. Be aware that the angle of viewing is not great, so if you are seated on a sofa for example, and the frame is resting on a higher table, the ideal viewing angle will be lost. But, it goes with the territory. Some of the features have yet to be used such as providing an MP3 sound to accompany the viewing session, or even viewing video footage. I believe that it's a 5 star product, but on one occasion, the quality of the picture deteriorated quite a bit. However, after leaving it turned off for a while, the picture appeared normal when I turned it on again. Therefore, the jury is still out on that one. Finally, I think the 10 inch screen is a good starting size; not too obtrusive and providing viewing at a reasonable distance.
